KDC to pay 14% dividend in cash

Food and flavours producer Kido Corporation will pay dividends of VND1,400 per each share in cash for 2015.

It will mean an outgo of nearly VND290 billion (US$13.2 million) on nearly 206 million shares

The company said the record date would be September 16 and dividend payments would start on September 27.

Kido used to be a confectionary company, but in 2015 switched to making and trading foods and flavours, including cooking oil and instant noodles.

Last week it exited the snack business after selling the remaining 20 per cent it had held to Mondelez Group for VND2 trillion ($91 million).

The company said it would focus on mergers and acquisitions to widen its new business.
