FPT revenue reaches $1.45b in 10 months

The FPT Group earned a total revenue of VND32.44 trillion (US$1.45 billion) during the first 10 months of this year, up 19 per cent compared to the same period last year and representing 104 per cent of the group's 10-month revenue plan.

 

The group's pre-tax profits over 10 months were VND2.2 trillion ($99.2 million), up 8 per cent from last year's period. FPT's profits after taxes reached VND1.44 trillion ($64.5 million), 7 per cent higher than the same period last year.

The telecom sector accounted for the largest share of the profits, with VND901 billion ($40.3 million) so far, an increase of 7 per cent compared to the same period last year.

The group's technology sector has seen high growth, posting VND686 billion ($30.7 million) of profits, a year-on-year growth of 18 per cent.

FPT's IT product distribution and retail sector profited VND21.03 trillion ($940.6 million) and VND558 billion ($24.96 million), respectively.

The group's global strategy continued to be successful. The turnover from the foreign market reached VND3.83 trillion ($175 million) in the 10-month period, a year-on-year increase of 34 per cent.
