Viglacera shares begin trading

Shares of Viglacera, the leading ceramic building material producer in Viet Nam, started trading in the unlisted public company market on Thursday.

 

The Ha Noi Stock Exchange said 264.5 million shares of the corporation (code VGC) have the preference price of VND10,600 (US$0.47) each.

With a charter capital of VND2.64 trillion ($122.2 million), Viglacera's products have been exported to 40 countries with the sales of $30 million per year.

The corporation also operates in the real estate market with several housing projects and industrial zone projects in the north of Viet Nam.

VGC targeted a revenue of VND4.548 trillion ($203 million) and a profit-after-tax of VND143 billion ($6.4 million) this year and a revenue of VND5.087 trillion ($227 million) and profit-after-tax of VND177 billion ($7.9 million) in 2016.
