ANZ ranked best for FX products and services in VN

ANZ today announced it has been voted No.1 among foreign FX providers in Vietnam by corporates, according to Asiamoney’s FX Poll 2015.

ANZ was ranked best in four categories: Overall FX services, FX products and services, FX Options and FX research & market coverage.

ANZ Vietnam CEO Dennis Hussey said, “This is the fourth consecutive year that ANZ Vietnam has achieved this prestigious title- a strong testament for our continued leadership in this space. The award recognises the quality of our products, the expertise we offer, and our people’s hard work and commitment to providing our clients with best banking services.”

“Today’s challenging business environment requires corporates operating in global markets to have insightful market information, advice and solutions from a trusted foreign exchange provider. ANZ is proud and thankful to be continuously voted by our customers as the best foreign bank FX provider in Vietnam,” ANZ Vietnam’s head of Global Markets, Phan Thi Thanh Binh said.

In this year’s Asiamoney FX Poll, ANZ was voted best for overall FX Services in Asia Pacific by corporates and won many strong rankings in several categories across countries in which it operates, including Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan.

The Asiamoney FX Poll is a direct survey providing independent feedback from clients and the rest of the market. The 25th annual poll received 2,499 valid individual responses from senior treasury, financial and management officials based in the region; the responses came from 394 financial institutions and 1,897 non-financial corporates.

ANZ was one of the first foreign banks in Vietnam when it opened in 1993. Today, ANZ Vietnam has nine transaction outlets in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as representative offices in the southern province of Binh Duong and Can Tho city in the Mekong delta region.

ANZ was named “Best Trade Finance Bank” and “Best Risk Management Bank” in The Asset’s Triple A Treasury, Trade and Risk Management Awards 2015 and has been awarded “Best International Trade Bank in Vietnam” consecutively in recent years by Trade Finance magazine.

ANZ has been ranked “Best Foreign FX Provider” in Vietnam for four consecutive years since 2012 by prestigious Asiamoney magazine.
