The first Sol resort to debut on Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island

Spain’s Meliã Hotels International, one the largest hotel companies worldwide, and M.I.K Corporation- a leading real-estate investor and developer in Vietnam- recently entered a partnership to present the first Sol resort in Vietnam – Sol House Phu Quoc.

This has marked a new milestone for the strategic growth of both companies.

Scheduled to be opened in 2016, Sol House Phu Quoc will be a four-start resort consisted of 260 magnificent rooms and bungalows, an exotic spa, two different dining spaces, a beach bar, a swimming pool and a beach sport centre.

A member of the Sol brand’s family, one of the most successful and acknowledged resort brands of Meliã Hotels International (MHI), Sol House Phu Quoc aims to provide an aspirational-but-affordable lifestyle product for adults, families and couples.

“I believe that Sol House Phu Quoc will be the next destination of choice for both domestic and international tourists,” said Pham Thanh Tuan, vice president of M.I.K Corporation.

“Working with global prestigious companies like the MHI is our core strategy in order to be the industry leader in Vietnam and reach out the global market,” Tuan added.

MHI Asia Pacific vice president, Nancy Ning, said, “It is a great pleasure to work with M.I.K Corporation. Together, we will bring out the best of Sol House Phu Quoc, making it a fantastic destination for wonderful holiday and getaway.”
