Vietnamese goods fair opens in Bac Lieu Province

Nearly 40 local companies are displaying their products at a three-day trade fair titled "Bringing Vietnamese Goods to Rural Areas" that opened in Bac Lieu Province's Dong Hai District yesterday.

The fair, held in Ganh Hao Town, features a diverse range of products including food, pharmaceuticals, fashion, household utensils and electronic products, together with promotional activities.

Other activities at the trade fair include the donation of gifts to poor households and needy students, and training in sales skills for small traders working at traditional markets.

Organised by the HCM City-based Business Study and Assistance Centre and the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the event seeks to connect businesses with local distributors, and help enterprises better understand local customers' tastes and demands.
