Market rally continues on both bourses

Shares continued to rise on both bourses this morning.

On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the benchmark VN-Index added almost one per cent to reach 574.96 points.

The VN30 Index, tracking the city's top 30 stocks, also climbed 0.94 per cent to end at 619.31 points, thanks to the gains made by 24 blue chips.

The total value and volume of trading hit VND1.12 trillion (US$52.6 million) and more than 65.9 million shares respectively.

The Ha Noi Stock Exchange closed higher, with the HNX-Index gaining 0.73 per cent to end at 88.50 points.

The HNX30 Index, comprising the bourse's 30 leading large-cap stocks, jumped more than one per cent, reaching 177.31 points.

However, trading value was low, standing at just VND390.5 billion ($18.3 million), as investors exchanged 28.3 million shares.
