Credit Suisse named best foreign investment bank in VN

Credit Suisse has won The Asset magazine's Triple A Country Award for the best foreign investment bank in Viet Nam for 2014.

It is for the third consecutive year that the Swiss bank has received the accolade from the magazine, a leading financial publication in the Asia Pacific.

Credit Suisse was the first investment bank to start operations in Viet Nam in 2001.

It was sole global co-ordinator of the US$200 million senior notes offered by Vingroup in October 2013, the first ever benchmark US dollar-denominated bond offering by a Vietnamese corporate, and successfully reopened the offshore US dollar bond market for Vietnamese issuers.

In July the bank also won Euromoney's Awards for Excellence for best investment bank in Viet Nam for a sixth time.
