KPMG graduate-level hires target leaders of tomorrow
Leading professional services firm, KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia, continues to attract top talents and as part of their growth strategy, this month welcomed a total of 215 new graduates to the firm.
Graduate positions at KPMG are highly sought after and competitive, with more than 4,000 students applying for a position in one of the KPMG offices located in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or Phnom Penh.“In a business environment where other companies may be curtailing their graduate intake, KPMG is committed to investing in the future leaders of tomorrow. I’m confident that we have selected a group of talented individuals with the passion and drive to really make a difference to not just KPMG, but also our society,” said Warrick Cleine, chairman and CEO of KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia.
KPMG’s newest recruits come from a diverse range of backgrounds and will now undertake an intense four-week training and induction programme, to help them acclimatise to professional life at KPMG.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hang, HR director at KPMG, stated “Our graduate training programme is recognised as one of the best in the market, but learning doesn’t stop after four weeks. Our graduates receive continuous on the job learning, and after 12 months may also pursue professional qualifications relevant to their job such as ACCA, CPA Australia and the VACPA”.
KPMG in Vietnam was established in 1994. Today, with over 800 professionals working at offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, KPMG is one of the largest professional services firms in Vietnam with a balanced mix of international and local clients.
