Hanoi Gift Show promotes handicrafts, home décor items

Three hundred Vietnamese enterprises are showcasing handicrafts and gift items at the Hanoi Gift Show 2014, which opened on October 27 at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre.

The fair has been organised for the fourth time by the Ha Noi City Department of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Handicrafts Exporters Association (Vietcraft). The exhibition aims to help firms dealing with Vietnamese handicrafts, home décor and gift items to seek partners and expand their export markets.

According to the organisers, nearly 600 foreign enterprises have registered to present their goods at the fair. The exhibits include home décor items and handicrafts, home textiles and embroidery, and gifts and ethnic items, as well as personal accessories.

Enterprises in the One Village One Product movement from Viet Nam and countries such as Laos, Indonesia and Nepal will exhibit their well-designed products at the fair.

The event will end on October 30.
