Vingroup begins construction of Vinhomes Tan Cang

Vingroup kicked off construction of the exclusive Vinhomes Tan Cang urban complex in HCM City on July 26.

According to the group, the VND30 trillion (US$1.42 billion) complex was the first of its kind in the city, adding that it will mark the group's extension into the southern real estate market.

Spanning 43 hectares in Tan Cang Port of Binh Thanh District, the complex will face the Sai Gon River in the city centre which is accessible by road, rail and the waterway.

As per the design, Vinhomes Tan Cang will be "a mini green city" with 13.8 hectares of greenery surrounding luxury apartments, villas, offices, commercial areas etc.

Besides the high class villas and apartments, the complex will also set a record at being the tallest building in Viet Nam with 81 floors, which will provide offices and apartments for local and international enterprises.

The complex will also include a 40,000 square metre Vincom Centre with numerous shopping and entertainment services such as a Cineplex, ice skating rink, food courts, supermarkets and malls.

A system of Vinschools (from kindergarten to high school), Vinmecs (international standard hospital) and Vinhomes (real estate management) will also be available in the complex.

Similar to the policy in other Vingroup complexes, those living in Vinhomes Tan Cang will also enjoy free management fee for the first 10 years, free access to the swimming pool and will be supported with other family services.

According to the group, the luxury villas, Vinschool, and Vinmec will be completed and begin operations in 2015, while the rest of the complex will finish in 2017.
