NAB opens branch office in Ha Noi

State Bank of Viet Nam Governor Nguyen Van Binh on July 15 granted a licence to the National Australia Bank Limited (NAB) to open its branch office in Ha Noi.

According to the licence No 56/GP-NHNN, the bank, which has its headquarters in Docklands VIC, Australia, has a five-year work licence from the date of issue.

Accordingly, the bank's branch office will be the contact office, and will do market research and promote the bank's investment projects in Viet Nam. It will also oversee and monitor the contracts between the bank and Vietnamese credit institutions and enterprises as well as its funded projects in the country.
