India tops Vietnamese pharmaceutical imports

India was Viet Nam's leading pharmaceutical exporter in the first six months of this year with nearly a 14 per cent increase, said the Viet Nam Ministry of Industry and Trade's Industry and Trade Information Center

Viet Nam imported US$131.1 million in drugs from India in the first six months of this year, up 13.6 per cent compared to the same period last year.

France is the second highest exporter after India with $106.6 million, decreasing 17.33 per cent year-on-year.

Germany ranks third, with $95.9 million, up 35.88 per cent year-on-year.
