Hoa Binh posts 40% increase in exports in Q1

The Hoa Binh province generated over US$27 million from exports in Q1 2014, representing a 40 per cent year-on-year increase or accomplishing 19 per cent of its yearly target.

This information was provided by the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.

Electronics, textile and garment, and agricultural products recorded high export growth.

During the reviewed period, the province also spent approximately US$12 million for importing, mainly electronic components and raw materials for the garment sector, up 27 per cent over the same period last year.
