Transactions remain steady in City

The city saw nearly 1,000 successful transactions in the property market in the first two months of the year, which was similar to the same period last year.

The city said projects where construction had been completed quickly and that were priced between VND13-21 million per square metre as well as small and medium projects of less than 70 square metres were sold rapidly.

Land in the suburbs, such as District 8, District 9, Thu Duc District and Binh Chanh District, also drew the attention of home buyers.

Statistics from the municipal Construction Department showed that the total inventory in the two-month period was VND16.7 trillion, down 4 per cent from December. Of this, the number of apartments was 7,520 sq m, and commercial land was 34,318 sq m.
