Huawei launches new smartphones, tablet in VN

Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Huawei introduced two new smartphones and a tablet in the Vietnamese market last week.

The smartphones, Ascend G610 and Y320, and the tablet MediaPad 7 Youth, targeted at the low and middle-income consumers in the country, will be distributed by the FPT Corporation.

Allen Wang, director of the Huawei Viet Nam Consumer Business Group, said that the firm recognises the high demand for low and medium-priced products by the Vietnamese people.

He hoped that the launch of these products would meet their demands, not only in terms of quality but also price.
