Lao stock exchange outlines future working plans
Senior officials from the Lao Securities Exchange Commission met in Vientiane on Monday to seek improvements to the work of the commission office and propose a future plan for the year ahead.
The half-day meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad, who is also chairman of the commission.
Officials had the chance to propose some important regulations and the possibility of holding shareholders' meetings among the registered companies on the Lao Securities Exchange.
The members of the commission also ex changed ideas about past achievements during the ongoing development and promotion of the securities exchange.
Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad urged the members of the commission to translate past achievements to great success over the years to come.
