Vinamilk CEO still among Asia's best

CEO and chairwoman of Vinamilk – Viet Nam's largest dairy producer - Mai Kieu Lien has retained her title as one of the best CEO's in Asia by the Hong Kong-based Corporate Governance Asia Journal.

This is the second time Lien has been named on the list after the first times in May 2012 next to a stream of leaders from China Telecom, Maybank, Singapore Airlines, HTC and San Miguel.

Earlier, in March 2012, she was also included among Asia's 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen, released by US business magazine Forbes.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 27 in Hong Kong. Last year, despite the economic difficulties, Vinamilk achieved a total revenue of over VND27 trillion (US$1.3 billion), with its exports hitting nearly $180 million. The company also reach the highest rate of sales ever, with more than 4 billion products consumed.
