Public needs more info on exchange
Participants in a workshop staged by Phnom Penh Secur-ities said better information was needed on the country’s fledgling securities market.
Sun Sokhet, a representative of Phnom Penh Securities, said the company would organise at least two seminars focusing on technical analysis of the market, which would be useful to members of the public who are interested in trading.“The [Cambodia Securities Exchange] is a new market in Cambodia. When there is a new market, people are not clear about it. So we do this to help them understand,” he said.
Ham Samnag, executive dir-ector of the Action Learning for Development Organisation, said he had attended because the market and the economy were interconnected with many occupations in the country.
