Petrovietnam Insurance H1 gross profit up 13 pct y/y
Petrovietnam Insurance Company, the insurance arm of Vietnam's state oil and gas group Petrovietnam, said on Wednesday its gross profit in the first half of this year rose 13 percent to VND220 billion (US$10.7 million).
The Hanoi-based firm, which holds a monopoly on Vietnam's energy insurance market, said in a statement its six-month gross profit accounted for 52.3 percent of the annual target set for 2011.
